Our Mission at HSMC is to provide food, shelter and community support for the homeless cats and dogs. We are a 501c3 non profit no-kill animal shelter established in 1978 and receive no funding from state or county. HSMC relies on private donations, fundraisers and grants to carry us forward year after year. We work with the public and other adoption, rescue agencies to find forever homes for our shelter animals. Our vision is to be the leaders in transforming the lives of community animals, pets and help the people who care for them.

Meet Sunshine

Sunshine is a sweet but shy 11/2 year old kitty. She will do well in a quieter place and with an owner who will allow her time and space to feel at ease. Sunshine is spayed and up to date with her shots. Sunshine is bonded with Sissy. Please give this nice girl a chance.

Meet Steel

Steel is an owner surrender. He is a handsome boy who is very active, loves his walks and play. He is a smart dog who is eager to learn and please. Give this boy a chance and you will not be disappointed. Steel is neutered and up to date on shots.

Meet Sweety

Sweety has unique, pretty silver markings that have become more pronounced as she matures. She may have some Siamese in her. When she first came to the shelter she has taken care of some younger male kittens and was a good big sister for them. She is a shy kitty and would prefer a calm environment.
